Mi pais , My Country

My country is a very small place
With a rich history
Rocks, bushes, wind and sea
It’s my island and it’s interesting
With stunning views…
and damaged parts too
And wherever I am…
My country knows about poverty, robbery, disease
and some who sometimes are annoying
It’s my island and it’s impressive
With it’s graceful people
and some who are good-for-nothing
And wherever I am…
I am a bit worried
about my rock, my place
I cannot foresee the future
Don’t know how things will turn out
But in my prayers I ask God
To help us every now and then if he finds the chance
Just to fix some things
And take good care of what is ours
My island is a lovely place
It’s where my umbillical cord for ever lies…

Candy Land ( click me )

Hi guys , so i sewed this dress during the holidays for new years eve. I was looking for inspiration throughout the holidays.I like to create a story behind my dresses , that just makes it more fun to make. and finally i was inspired by the following poem

While walking by a candy shop,

The sight of gumdrops made me stop,

And with a penny in my hand,

I entered into Candy land.

The smell of chocolate was distinct,

And then a sight caused me to blink,

As if in answer to my prayers,

I saw a million chocolate bears.

Some were dark and some were light,

And some were very, very white,

Some were standing six feet tall,

And some were very, very small.

Some were wide and some were thin,

Some wore frowns and some wore grins,

Some were round and some were flat,

Some wore shoes and some wore hats.

I was rather mystified,

I could not quite believe my eyes,

But when they all began to dance,

I walked right in and took a chance.

I danced with one and then with two,

Then three with hats and one with shoes,

I was the belle of Candyland,

My life was chocolaty and grand.

But visions faded into night,

When I awoke and saw my plight,

My chocolate vision was a dream,

So I got up and had ice-cream.

Simplicity for the beautifully curved body

Simplicity is my project clothing line. I recently started sewing and designing my own clothes,i came up with the name simplicity because i believe that , when you are dressing simplicity is the key. if u have a very form fitting body, there is no need to dress dramatically or over the top. a woman with a curvy body already has a very appealing and attracting figure, so when dressing its very important to keep it classy sexy yet simple.

because your outfit can easily turn from classy to trashy.

my clothing line contains classic pieces with a modern twist to them. i find that when a person is very aware of his/her body , that person dresses more attentively. which will over shine someone else who dresses without thinking bout body figure and size. when u have this kind of knowledge and u know what fits u good, ull be able to accentuate ure more flattering body parts, and camouflage the unflattering in a very smart and subtle way .

my line is a growing project that is going to evolve and transform , while i grow older, and as i keep learning more about my self what i want in my line , and about sewing and designing

Hi guys this is my look of the day , i just bought this dress i am totally in luuuvv with it. the skirt i bought in New York at forever 21. i am currently luving sheer blouses . i think they are sophisticated yet feminine and u can dress them up or down like i did.

woke up this morning very inspired and decided to name every Monday , manicure Monday.

Mondays are such dull days, the weekend is over and everybody is in a slouchy mood. 

i vouch to break this habit i don't wanna slouch anymore on Mondays. 

Mondays are gonna be my Pick mi up days . am going to post a different nail design and color every Monday from now on . so maybe i can cheer you all up

Perfect Shade of Brown ( click 4 more)

So what is THE perfect shade of brown actually?

I believe that every shade of brown is beautiful, and that we have to embrace our ethnicity. I feel that allot of black and beautifull women out there , dont acknowledge the fact that their skin tone is gorgeous. Allot of mothers are bleaching their children to make them look lighter, and it just grosses me out that people would actually have that kind of mind state after all we have been through as people of color.

But i don't blame them tho' for they do not know better. the social media is a huge factor for this, the message it brings for not only young women and men is that in order to be beautifull you have to fit in to the rules of being either skinny or light skinned and that is not true. Everybody is beautifull in their own way , God made you that way so who are you to say that , that is wrong .

My blog is primarily a fashion blog where i post my creative style i want everybody to feel free to express there selves and embrace their outer shade cuz where all the same on the inside .

somebody who is aware of that is the Perfect shade not only of Brown but of every color.
