7 days of summer : Denim shorts

Hi dolls, how have you all been ?
i hope everything is swell. so this is going to be the first part of my 7 days of summer blogpost. 

we all know summer is right around the corner everybody is bussy with gettin school work done , so that they can enjoy the summer. ill be posting 7 summer must have items on my summer 2012 list. 

Denim shorts 

so the number one thing on my summer 2012 must have  list is the oh so beloved denim short. i live int he caribean for those of you who dont know. and its gettin freaking hot day by day . this item is the perfect item for me to rock this summer in this hot and humid weather.

i havent bought a pair of shorts yet , am searching for the one that fits perfectly , since i have a verry shaply body, i have to be sure to get one that fits just the way i like. am dying to studdefy then when i buy them.

 

i would love to have some denims shorts , with tribal patterns or some other kind of tye-die vibe to it . or i could just do it myself aswell depends on my mood .

Fashion Bible

hi dolls, am back i hope u are all enjoying ure Tuesday , I AM so far. am in suuch a good mood today. but lets talk about fashion bibles. every fashionista and stylist or fashion lovers whatever you wanna call it . has his or her fashion bible. its a book a magazine or website which he or she follows daily weekly or monthly filled with inspiration. off course i have this as well, ever since i was a little gurl i have loved collecting magazines. i had a large collection of TINA magazine which was a dutch strip book. as a grew older, i started collecting seventeen magazine and cosmo girl. am twenty going on twenty one now. so right now my current fashion addictions are IN STYLE magazine, and PEOPLE style watch. these are my two fashion bibles and they fill me up with inspiration all the time.

Manicure Mondays

 Hi dolls, i know i know i haven't posted in a week and am so sorry for that but am just so caught up with all my schoolwork. the school year is coming to a quick end , and i wanna make shure i make all my classes. but enough of that 

today is a Monday and that means off course manicure mondays. i choose a green teal kind of color today, and decided to give it a lil more edge with red glittery detailing. but am afraid i look a little like Christmas right now XD LOL anyhow . i hope you guys enjoy ure week many blessings.

Hi dolls, i hope you all enjoyed your enjoying your week so far. this is my outfit of the day . i like to give all of my OOTDS a name and a theme , i just think that makes talking about them so much more fun. 

today am that brown babe in blue , i just love this dress its so fun and flirty and perfect to fit the spring season.its actually a skirt , but i didn't like the fit of it as a skirt so i just turned it into a dress. i paired it with my grey heels and grey purse. and matched it with sweet pearl accesoires.

i think the color blue suit my skin tone very nicely.

fashion owns me

ever since i was little i have had a verry strong creative mind. i was always pretending to be someone famous or someone important. singing and dancing have been a great part of my life ever since i was 4 years of age. ive been in choirs ive sang in concerts , ive danced and performed, on my island as well as other island and in the US and Suriname. 

performing and entertaining is my passion. i love making people smile or making them feel happy.

but somehow that wasn't enough for me. i wanted to do something different this time , not with the satisfaction of others in mind. but with my own self contentedness. 

and i have found that in sewing. when i design i design with myself in mind. would i wear this ? do i like it. the main focus is me , i find myself going into this big designing world wear i am the main client to please. when i create i create for myself and that's one of the most amazing feelings i have ever had. 

to see how one can turn a piece of fabric into something unique and wearable is a fascinating art for me. 

and i think ill be sewing for as long as my eyes can allow me to see the tiny hole to put my string through the needle LOL XD

OMG , IF URE A FASHION LOVER THERE'S NO WAY ON EARTH THAT U CANT ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE PRETTY LITTLE LIARS SERIES.

I FELL IN LOVE WITH THIS SERIES A YEAR AND A HALF AGO , WHEN I STUMBLED ACROSS THE BOOKS OVER AT THE MIAMI AIRPORT ON VACATION. IT LOOKED VERY INTRIGUING SO I DECIDED TO PURCHASE THE FIRST  2 BOOKS. IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT, A FABULOUS ADDICTION. I WAS EVEN MORE SURPRISED WHEN I FOUND OUT THEY ALSO SELL THE BOOKS LOCALLY. I IMMEDIATLY PURCHASED THE ENTIRE SERIES COLLECTION. WITH EXCEPTION OF THE LAST ADDITION WHICH IS "TWISTED" AM YET TO BUY THAT LAST PIECE OF MY WONDERFUL SERIES.

Fabulously Flirty

hi again guys …nottin fancy just casual, i was feeling flirty and i decided to whip this outfit together . nottin says flirty more then wedges and in the color pink , am so i luv with these wedge there so pretty.

i paired them with a tribal print skirt and a pink top , and just in case it gets cold later on i threw on a cardie for that instant – laid back look. i luv this look its sexy and flirty and if ure not really into revealing the cardie gives it an instant- casual look. i hope y’all have a nice  night

Hi dolls, so this is my OOTD i have a huge presentation today about my next sewing collection so i decided that this outfit would be best to wear. i am totally in LUV with abstract patterns for this spring and summer , they can be very flattering for everybody type. ecpesialy when u wear it with a dress design like this, which is a shirt dress, it fits very loose and hides ure tummy very well. if u still want to show off some curves a cinched belt at the waist is perfect to great that hour shape glass illusion.
